Configuring Eudora Pro for Mac OS

In order for you to configure your Eudora Pro e-mail account settings properly, you will need to have ready your username and password supplied to you by CogniLogic AND your current Internet Service Provider's (ISP) SMTP address. Contact your current ISP for their SMTP address and CogniLogic if you have not received your username and password.

1. Open Eudora Pro.
2. From the Special menu, choose Settings.
   
   
   
3. Scroll down until Personalities is visible and select it.
4. Click the New button.
5. In the Pers. Name field, type the name you'd like to use to identify this account.
6. In the Real name field, type the name you'd like to appear in your e-mails, i.e., your display name.
7. In the Username field, type the username that was given to you by CogniLogic.
8. In the Mail Host field, type the "cognilogic.net" (excluding parentheses).
9. In the SMTP Server field, type the name of your ISP's SMTP address.
10. In the Return address field, type your email address.
11. Click the OK button.
