The GGSE asked us to redesign their 1500page web site. They wanted a new look that would draw a wide audience, while providing a functional gateway for current faculty and students. Within the scope of the project we redesigned the home-page (shown above), template, and course offerings section. We transfered all the content from their old template (~1500-pages) into their new template design. We provided the GGSE with a template design containing a Cascading Style Sheet (CCS) so that faculty and students may create new pages within Macromedia Dreamweaver. Since there are many different servers, and webmasters that host their site, we provided a departmental training session to ease them into the new site structure and maintenance requirements. We also provided the GGSE with a complete user's manual for maintenance and for the creation of new pages within the new template design.
